Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor is gearing up for the mass production of its new motorhome. While the exact debut date is not yet known, it is expected to launch very soon.
To create this motorhome, they utilized the frame pickup Shanhai Poer, measuring 5440 mm in length. The living area is set up in the place of the original pickup's cargo bed, extending into part of the rear cabin. The interior comes in several finish options, although only one configuration is seen in the leaked internet photos. Inside, there is a double bed, two chairs, a table, a sink with a faucet and stove, as well as a shower cabin and washing machine.
In its standard version, the Great Wall Shanhai Poer pickup is equipped with a 2.4-liter diesel engine producing 183 hp or a 3.0-liter gasoline engine with 353 hp, both paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The maximum speed of the diesel model is 155 km/h, and the gasoline model is 180 km/h. Some reports suggest that the motorhome is equipped with the same 2.4-liter diesel engine.
