Carscoops showcased photos of a unique BMW 3 Series E46 Compact that was modified by craftsmen from Ukraine. It's unclear who and when transformed this rear-wheel-drive hatchback into a restomod inspired by the works of the Japanese tuning company Mitsuoka. The front part of the car especially catches the eye. Instead of BMW's signature "kidney" grilles, the restomod creators installed a tall vertical radiator grille reminiscent of the 1940s Cadillac design. Adjacent to it are a bulging hood and yellow fog lights, while the look is completed with metallic bumpers. A full-sized spare wheel is attached to the rear door.
The BMW 3 Series E46 Compact was produced from 2000 to 2004. Its engine lineup included several gasoline and diesel options. The base model 316i featured a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 166 hp, while the top-tier 325ti boasted a 2.5-liter V6 with 192 hp. The engine used in the restomod remains a mystery.
